Merry Christmas! Whether you’ve been traveling with me over these past 25 days or not, I wish you some time today and into the new year where you can be open to all the small miracles that abound. Bless these moments, these days, these gifts that surround us.While I don’t feel like I have traveled too fast these days, I do want to take refuge in my senses, and I want to be open to all that is to come. I wish the same for you.
You have traveled too fast over false ground;
Now your soul has come to take you back.
Take refuge in your senses, open up
To all the small miracles you rushed through.
—John O’Donohue from To Bless the Space Between Us
Today’s Prompt: Make something monochromatic. Include an element that is decidedly you!
Everyday through December 25th, I’ll be making a 5×5 inch collage, writing a short entry on this blog and sharing a prompt for those who might want to participate along with me. You can follow my progress by subscribing to this blog through the sidebar on the blog homepage, or by following me on Instagram.
Beautiful, my friend. Thank you for the good wishes. I wish the same for you. I have enjoyed journeying with you this year – via these advent posts and as your friend. Thank you for all you add the world – as an artist and as an amazing human being. You are so loved.
You are so kind, and thank you for following along with me these past 25 days!
What a gift it has been to be part of this art journey with you. I had a challenging holiday and found solice in this daily practice even while I was traveling to AZ for a weeek. I looked forward to each surprise prompt trying to guess just by looking at your collage! I tried new things and owned this work! You made me stronger in my commitment to visually express myself. It is so true that when you are living your authentic life you can only inspire others to do so Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
