Accept the Realities/Strength is subtle, December 7, 2017

Redacting text lives high on my list of techniques for manipulating words, whether found or my own. I don’t remember the origins of the text for today’s collage. Here’s the new text.

It is
difficult to feel deprived of what one never
knew
This is not a trap
the source of strength is subtle
accept the realities
refuse to
shut things out or to praise them

Today’s prompt:

Take a piece of found text and redact it into something new. Layer that with other imagery and color, using a limited color palette. Three colors at most.
