From darkness to light 12.21.18
December 21, 2018Managing 12.23.18
December 23, 2018I love this day, the day after the winter solstice, where every single day until the summer solstice grows with light. I look at it as a time to celebrate the dark, and I ask it (the dark) to show me its continual lessons and how to move through it with love and light.
Time to go into the dark
where the night has eyes
to recognize its own.
There you can be sure
you are not beyond love.
— David Whyte from House of Belonging (Sweet Darkness)
Today’s Prompt:
Break out of a pattern. Let repetition of a shape begin in an ordered matter and then dissolve into something else. Bonus if you use gold from a candy or other wrapper.
Everyday through December 25th, I’ll be making a 5×5 inch collage, writing a short entry on this blog and sharing a prompt for those who might want to participate along with me. You can follow my progress by subscribing to this blog through the sidebar on the blog homepage, or by following me on Instagram.

Love the words – and that you used gold from a candy wrapper. Hmmm, I wonder what candy it was? 😉
Pay attention to your candy girlfriend, there are tons that have an inner silver or gold wrapper, that becomes a collage person’s treasure!
