Join me at Snow Farm in 2025
December 29, 2024LESS. How can I go deeper and do less but still have enough. I hand-stitched this little thing as a reminder to myself of what I want more of in my life, which is less.
As I look back over the past few months, I see continued opportunity to “clear the muck” and remember “what yes comes from no.” I still have a long ways to go, and sometimes plagued by despair, but for the most part, all is well. I hosted visiting artist Amos Paul Kennedy, Jr. I and Alexis Aceves Garcia at MCLA. I taught at Haystack in Maine, at MASS MoCA, and my local library. I walked a couple hundred miles. Dipped into cold and hot water. Loved my husband and my cat. I made a lot of sample artist books that I hope will become more developed books. I got to see Kay WalkingStick and Louisa Davis Minot's paintings of Niagara Falls. And I made a snow labyrinth. Probably other things, too. But these the highlights!
