How-to finish a project
August 18, 2013Making sketchbooks
September 1, 2013Recently someone inquired about how I made the covers for my Emerson book. They are non-adhesive covers. A super easy way to cover a book without glue or tape. Hopefully these picture instructions will show you how to make them.
What you need:
- Text block with sturdy end sheets (I’m using an accordion made out of 80# paper. Anything thinner is really too thin for this.)
- Cover stiffener, if desired.
- Cover paper. I’m using Rives Lightweight. Anything that folds easily will do.
- Bonefolder
- ruler
Good luck! Questions? Comment below.

Well! MJ of course! Hands down – no contest.
But the covers are beautiful too. 😉
